Perry Stephenson is a Principal Data Platform Engineer at Atlassian since November 2018, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Data Scientist within the same organization. At the University of Technology Sydney from July to December 2019, Perry taught a Data Science Practice subject for the Master of Data Science and Innovation program. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Data Scientist at Commonwealth Bank, where leadership was provided to a team addressing business challenges through data science, as well as a Data Scientist focusing on customized business solutions. Perry's earlier career at Ausgrid spanned from 2007 to 2016, starting as a Cadet Engineer and culminating as a System Control Engineer, contributing to engineering support and project management within the Sydney Control Room. Perry holds a Master of Data Science and Innovation from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with first-class honors from UNSW.
