Alan Kugler is the current advisor at AtlasMedx. Alan has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in the clinical development and registration of new drug products. Prior to their current position, they served as the Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Nektar Therapeutics, where they were responsible for the design and development of new drug products applying PEGylation and inhalation technologies. Alan has also held positions as the Director of Clinical Development and Clinical Leader at Pfizer, as well as the Chief Scientific Officer at Coastal Pharma Group. In addition to their industry experience, Alan Kugler also has academic experience, having served as an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences at UCSF.

Alan Kugler has a PhD in Pharmaceutics (Pharmacokinetics) from the University of Michigan, an MS in Pharmaceutics (Pharmacokinetics) from the University of Michigan, and a BS/BS in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alan also has an ACDRS in Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco and is certified from UCSF in ACDRS - American Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences (inaugural course).
