Denisse Becerra is an accomplished legal and compliance executive with extensive experience across multiple industries, currently serving as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Atlas, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Denisse was the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at PayJoy from August 2021 to July 2024, where strong relationships with stakeholders were fostered while managing legal and regulatory risks in the Latam, Asia, and Africa regions. Denisse's professional affiliations include membership in Chief, focused on empowering women executives, and TechGC, a peer community for General Counsels. An experienced strategic partner at ESTUDIO LLONA & BUSTAMANTE ABOGADOS and former Associate General Counsel at Western Union, Denisse has demonstrated expertise in corporate legal matters, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Denisse holds an LL.M in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School, an Advanced Diploma in Negotiations from Harvard Law School, and a J.D. from Universidad de Lima, among other educational qualifications.
