Aurojeet Misra is currently serving as a Longevity Biotech Fellow at Longevity Biotech Fellowship and a Research Intern at the University of Birmingham, focusing on genes influencing aging and longevity. Additionally, contributions are made to ValleyDAO in the Dealflow & Incubation Group, supporting research in synthetic biology for climate change and food security. Aurojeet is also a winner of the MSA Innovation Challenge at the University of Chicago, collaborating on projects involving biosecurity and disease diagnostics. Participation in various conferences, such as the Global Challenges Project and Stanford Existential Risks Conference, further showcases engagement with bio-risks and existential risk reduction. Recognized as a VitaDAO Longevity Fellow, Aurojeet was an Atlas Finalist and has previously served on the staff of the International Biology Bowl. Aurojeet is pursuing a BS-MS in Biology at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, following a strong educational background in sciences.
