Marie J. Torres has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the hospitality and marketing industries. Marie J. most recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Atlantis Bahamas since April 2019. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President of Brand & Marketing at Two Roads Hospitality, where they managed multiple distinctive properties and brands globally. Marie J. also held the position of Vice President of Brand & Marketing at Destination Hotels, overseeing a collection of upscale and luxury independent hotels and resorts. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Head of Brand & Field Marketing for Hyatt Resorts and Head of Marketing & Brand Strategy for Denihan Hospitality Group. Marie has also had experience working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they held various global leadership roles within the Westin Hotels & Resorts brand. Marie J.'smarketing expertise extends beyond the hospitality industry, as they have also worked as the Director of Marketing for the Haircare division at L'Oréal. Prior to working in marketing, Marie worked as a Group Account Director at McCann Worldgroup.
Marie J. Torres holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Marie J. also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Syracuse University.
