Pelayo Martinez Benjumea is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in financial control and procurement within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as an International Senior Buyer at Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc since September 2015, Pelayo leads competitive bidding processes, negotiates commercial terms, and develops procurement strategies. Previously, Pelayo held various roles at Abengoa from September 2005 to February 2015, including Financial Controller for wind farm projects and administrative financial officer coordinating project financing in India. Educated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from EU Business School, Pelayo combines strong financial acumen with expertise in project management and supplier negotiation.
