Rain Byars, P.E., PMP, is an experienced professional in the offshore wind energy sector, currently serving as Technical and Delivery Director at Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind LLC. Previously, Rain held the position of Technical and Delivery Director for Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind at Shell, and served as Chief Engineer for Offshore Wind at K2 Management. Additional experience includes the role of Principal Engineer for Wind Energy at ABS Group and CEO of Nextwind, Inc. Rain obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and has a background in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
