Mikel P. is a seasoned physician currently serving at Atlantic Medical Group since March 2019, specializing in primary care at the Westfield location. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Family Physician and Family Medicine Resident within the Atlantic Health System from July 2010 to March 2019, along with an internship at UMDNJ from June 2009 to June 2010. Mikel holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Systems and Policy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (2008-2010) and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the same institution (2004-2008). Academic foundations were established at Duke University, where Mikel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Chemistry, and African-American Studies (1999-2003), after attending Moorestown Friends School from 1992 to 1999.
