Dave Keating is an experienced journalist based in Brussels, currently serving as the Brussels correspondent for France 24 since January 2018. In addition to live reporting on political developments in the European Union and NATO, Keating holds multiple roles including Senior Writer at Energy Monitor, Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, and author of the Europe Decoder newsletter for World Politics Review. Keating has extensive freelance experience, covering EU politics, energy, climate, and Brexit for various media outlets. Previous positions include reporting and analysis for Deutsche Welle and editorial roles with The Economist Group and Haymarket Media Group. Keating holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Film & TV and European History from New York University.
