Tracy McClendon

VP, Programs at Atlanta Botanical Garden

McClendon joined the Garden in 1998 as part of the horticulture staff focusing on the creation of the Children’s Garden. In 2001, she became the Garden’s Education Director, responsible for school programs, continuing adult education programs, youth and family programs, libraries, and volunteer programs. McClendon has a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from New College in Sarasota, Fla. She previously worked at the Chicago Botanic Garden, where she developed programs for its Fruit and Vegetable Garden and managed volunteers.
