Anthony McCalla has extensive work experience in the transportation and emergency management fields. Anthony currently holds the position of Landside Operations Manager at Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company, LLC (AATC), starting in January 2022. Prior to this role, Anthony worked at MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) from 2008 to 2023. During their time at MARTA, they served as an Emergency Manager/Transit Police Sergeant from September 2016 to March 2023. Anthony also held the positions of Emergency Preparedness Unit Officer/Emergency Manager from November 2013 to March 2023 and Transit Police Officer from December 2008 to September 2016.

Anthony McCalla completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Mercer University in the years 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences from 2006 to 2008. The field of study during their Bachelor's degree was Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
