Liena Vilde CEng is a seasoned professional in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as Group Lead for Power Grids UK at ´¡³Ù°ì¾±²Ô²õ¸éé²¹±ô¾±²õ since May 2024. Prior to this role, Liena held the position of Electrical Networks Group Lead within the Net Zero Energy Business at ´¡³Ù°ì¾±²Ô²õ¸éé²¹±ô¾±²õ from July 2023 to June 2024 and was the Head of Innovation & Digital Asset Management at Atkins from February 2020 to July 2023. Liena's career includes significant experience at National Grid, where roles included Technology Manager, Power System Engineer, and Graduate Engineer from September 2011 to January 2020. Additionally, Liena served as National Grid Scientist in Charge for the Real-Smart Project between September 2013 and September 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Telecommunications and Internet Engineering from the University of Bradford.
