Ruben Heersink, CFA, currently serves as Balance Sheet Manager at Athora Netherlands, a position held since September 2020. Prior to this role, Ruben was a Quantitative Risk Analyst at BNP Paribas from May 2019 to September 2020, focusing on counterparty and financing risk within the Repo and Security Lending activities. Ruben also worked as a Quantitative Risk Analyst at Aegon Nederland, where responsibilities included valuation methodology and IFRS9 ECL for mortgage loans. Earlier experience includes an industrial trainee position at CSIRO and a data analyst role at Germains Seed Technology. Ruben holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente, along with a VWO diploma from Christelijk College Schaersvoorde.
