Ralph Valkonet is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as a Risicomanager at Athora Netherlands since April 2021, Ralph previously held the position of Operationeel risicomanager at Athora from November 2017 to May 2021. Prior to that, Ralph worked as a Business Risk Manager at a.s.r. de Nederlandse verzekeringsmaatschappij in 2017 and held various roles at Swiss Re from April 2000 to March 2017, including Risico Manager from 2011 to 2017, where Ralph was involved in the implementation of Solvency II requirements. Ralph holds a Master's degree in Economics and multiple Bachelor's degrees from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by foundational education at J. v. Oldenbarnevelt.
