Nishant Prasad is a seasoned professional specializing in battery technology and energy systems, currently serving as the Lead for Battery development at Ather Energy since December 2015. With expertise in battery control algorithms, cell engineering, and quality systems, Nishant has played a pivotal role in the development and delivery of the 450X battery and has established quality frameworks for manufacturing. Prior experience includes a research and development internship at ABB Corporate Research focusing on battery modeling for electric buses, as well as positions at SELCO Foundation and The Dow Chemical Company. Nishant holds a Master’s degree in Energy Science and Technology from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
