Emma L. is a Child Welfare Family Service Worker at ATHENA Consulting since June 2022, overseeing parent and sibling visits with youths in foster care and documenting these interactions in the Child, Juvenile, and Adult Management System (CJAMS). Previously, as a Program Coordinator at Emma Believes in Me from April 2021 to April 2022, Emma L. supported predominantly Latinx low-income families by researching resources, leading emotional support activities, and implementing person-centered therapy for youth groups. Earlier experience includes working as a Scanning Technician at Armedia, a Shift Leader at Cupcake Kitchen, and an intern at Bethany Christian Services. Emma L. holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, obtained in 2019.
