Liz Syage is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry with extensive expertise in chemistry and development. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant in API Chemistry & CMC at Atheln, Inc. since June 2017, Liz aids clients in formulating and executing integrated product development strategies. As a partner at PharmaChem Associates, Liz provides expert consultancy in chemistry and API development, leveraging a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, and pharmaceutical development. Previously, Liz held the position of Vice President of Process Chemistry at Allergan from 2007 to 2015, overseeing pharmaceutical drug substance contract manufacturing and ensuring the supply for various development phases. Liz Syage earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Brown University and a BS in Chemistry from Stockton University.
