Kevin Richards has extensive experience in IT, currently serving as a Senior Cloud Systems Administrator with a focus on DevSecOps at Athabasca University since December 2006. Prior to this role, Kevin held various positions at Athabasca University, including Senior, Intermediate, and Junior PC Systems Analyst. Earlier career experience includes serving as an IT Client Services Officer at Western Economic Diversification Canada from September 2005 to December 2006, and as a Service Desk Administrator at Environment Canada for a brief period in 2005. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, obtained from 2003 to 2005, and also studied Telecommunications Engineering Technology at the same institution from 2001 to 2003.
