Tuany Gabriela Hoffmann has a diverse work experience in different research and academic roles. Tuany Gabriela is currently working as a Scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) since September 2022.

Previously, they worked at FURB - Universidade de Blumenau, where they held multiple positions. From October 2017 to August 2022, they worked as a Research Engineer, conducting research in the field of food engineering. During this time, they also served as an Adjunct Professor, teaching courses on food packaging, food biochemistry, food microbiology, general and inorganic chemistry, and general and experimental chemistry for various bachelor programs. Tuany Gabriela briefly worked as a Volunteer Professor in June and July 2020 and as an Assistant Professor from August to December 2018.

Prior to that, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Quality Control at Duas Rodas Industrial from December 2016 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring, maintenance, and organization of the microbiology laboratory, and supporting the implementation of food safety systems. Tuany Gabriela also had an internship at Duas Rodas Industrial from August to December 2016, where they worked on microbiological mapping, analysis, and maintenance of the laboratory.

Tuany also worked as a Research Assistant at FURB - Universidade de Blumenau from August 2015 to March 2016, where they conducted research on wood drying techniques and mass transfer phenomenon in wood drying using analytical approaches.

Tuany Gabriela 'searliest work experience was as an Intern at SENAI/SC - Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial from April 2013 to September 2014. In this role, they conducted physico-chemical analysis in the Laboratory of Water and Wastewater Analysis and supported proficiency testing activities.

Tuany Gabriela Hoffmann began their education journey in 2012, when they enrolled at FURB - Universidade de Blumenau. Tuany Gabriela pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and successfully completed their studies in 2017. In the same year, they also started a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at FURB - Universidade de Blumenau, which they completed in 2019. At the same time, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Specialization in Food Safety Management at Centro Universitário Senac. Currently, since 2023, Tuany is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
