Dean Zurmely is a seasoned executive in the real estate sector with extensive experience in retail development and asset management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Real Estate at At Home Group Inc. since April 2012, Dean has played a pivotal role in scaling the company's retail footprint from 58 stores and $350 million in sales to over 215 stores and $1 billion+ in sales. Previously, at JCPenney, Dean held positions including National Store Director for both Asset Management and New Store Program, where success in store rollout and real estate negotiations streamlined operations across a substantial portfolio. Earlier career roles include Regional Real Estate Manager at Target and Director of Development at Zaremba Group. Dean holds a Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan.
