Farid Sammur is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the General Manager of Markets Technology at ASX since September 2024. Prior to this role, Farid was a Division Director at Macquarie Group from April 2020 to September 2024 and the Head of FX Technology at National Australia Bank from August 2015 to April 2020. Farid's career also includes positions as Head of Engineering and Director at Lab49, Associate Director and Practice Head at Lab49, and Development Manager at GDCM. Additional experience includes serving as Lead Software Engineer at ExpedientTech Consulting and Software Engineer at Alstom Power. Farid holds a degree in Software Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Westminster, which was completed between 1999 and 2002.
