Diccon Close serves as the General Manager of ASX Information Services and Head of DataSphere Product at ASX since June 2020. Previously, Diccon Close founded and led Financial Express Australia from June 2014 to April 2020, establishing a significant source of managed fund and superannuation information for the wealth management sector. An interim CEO at MARQ Services in early 2014, Diccon Close contributed to developing a SaaS-based analytics platform for mortgage lenders. Prior experience includes consulting for Sirca on new ventures and serving as CEO of Sirca Technology, which commercialized Sirca's intellectual property. From 2001 to 2008, Diccon Close was Managing Director for Reuters in Australia and New Zealand, overseeing a large multi-functional team. Additionally, Diccon Close held the role of Chairman of the ASX Reuters Charity Foundation, significantly impacting charitable funding. Education includes a BA Hons in Economics from the University of Kent and a graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
