David Jones has a diverse work experience in the aerospace and software engineering field. David started their career as a Lead Software Engineer at Digi International in 2000. In 2003, they joined Astronautics Corporation of America as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually progressed to the role of Software Engineering Manager - Windows Software Development. David held this position from 2009 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they served as the Research and Development Manager at Astronautics Corporation of America. Following this, they took on the role of Product Engineering Manager from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Aerospace Cybersecurity Engineering Manager at the same company.

David Jones attended Coalinga High School from 1986 to 1990. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of California, Davis from 1990 to 1995. Unfortunately, the degree they pursued and the field of study they focused on during their time at the university are not specified.
