Ivan Strydom is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Astron Energy (Pty) Ltd. since July 2023, Ivan has held significant roles including Senior Project Manager at Proconics, where responsibilities included overseeing fired heater SANS compliance upgrade projects. Prior positions include Project Manager at Fluor Corporation, managing an internal tray replacement project for cooling water towers, as well as multiple project management roles in previous companies such as Mozchem, Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions, and Fluor Corporation, with a notable achievement being the local project manager for the largest Air Separation Unit globally. Ivan's technical expertise was further developed during tenure as a Senior Engineer at Multotec Process Equipment and Mintek. Ivan holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Project Management from the University of Pretoria, earned between 2003 and 2007.
