Jose Acain is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and robotics sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at AstroForge since January 2022, Acain previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Ex Scientia Technologies. Prior roles include serving as a Staff Software Engineer and Vehicle Software Engineer at Bird, along with engineering positions at Space Exploration Technologies, the Laboratoire d'Océanographie de Villefranche, Volkswagen Group of America, NASA Ames Research Center, and Santa Clara University Robotics Systems Laboratory. Acain holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Santa Clara University.
