Frederik Stevenaert is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Head of Preclinical Research at AstriVax since September 2024, Frederik has previously held key roles at Dualyx as Director of R&D, and at Aelin Therapeutics as Head of Biology and Principal Scientist. Prior experience includes positions at Janssen Immunosciences and Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, where Frederik contributed as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist, respectively. Other notable roles include Scientist at Ablynx and Postdoctoral Fellow at Schering Plough Biopharma. Frederik holds a PhD from Ghent University, where a robust academic background in biotechnology was established, including earning a Master's degree in the same field.
