Thomas Wood is an experienced professional currently serving as an Acquisitions Program Manager at Astrion, focusing on the development, acquisition, and management of DoD systems since September 2024. Previously, Thomas held key roles including Director of Sales Operations at Sunbelt Design and Development, where responsibilities included managing sales, contracting, and engineering in the aviation sector. Thomas also served as Director of Sales, Engineering and Contracts at Science and Engineering Services, LLC, overseeing programs for the US DoD and commercial clients. Prior experience includes a decade with the UAE Armed Forces as a Senior Advisor and Security Assistance Program Manager, where oversight of aviation acquisition programs was essential. Thomas's earlier roles include serving as a Middle East Foreign Area Officer at US CENTRAL COMMAND and nearly 23 years as a US Army Officer, specializing in Military Intelligence and Engineering.
