Clayton Chong is a Senior Engineer at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) since May 2021, specializing in privacy-preserving machine learning and federated learning implementation. From September 2017 to January 2020, Clayton served as Co-Director at Project Access Hong Kong. Prior experience includes a research internship at The University of Hong Kong in Number Theory and Modular Forms in July 2018, and roles as External Secretary for the Oxford University Hong Kong Society and Social Services Secretary for the Oxford University Hong Kong Public Affairs and Social Services Society. Clayton holds a Master of Mathematics (MMath) from the University of Oxford (2016-2020) and attended the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics summer program in 2019. Clayton completed secondary education at Pui Kiu College (2005-2016).
