Richard Hawkins is an experienced professional in the aquaculture and bioseparation sectors, currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager at Astrea Bioseparations Ltd since November 2008. Prior roles include Production Manager at Manx Mariculture Ltd from 2005 to 2008, and Aquaculture Research Technician at the University of Liverpool from 2000 to 2005. Richard's career began as a Fish Farmer at Salar Ltd from 1997 to 1998. Richard holds an MSc in Shellfish Biology, Fisheries and Culture from the University of Bangor, Wales (1998-2000), and a BSc (Hons) in Zoology with a specialization in Marine and Fisheries from the University of Aberdeen (1993-1997).
