Venk Dakshin is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and IT integration, currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Architecture, Applications and IT Integration at AstraZeneca since January 2021. Prior to this role, Venk held the position of Senior Director, Enterprise Applications and Architecture at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where strategic engineering leadership was established. Venk’s career includes significant roles at Pitney Bowes, encompassing responsibilities such as Senior IT Director and Global IT CRM Director, where extensive CRM and digital application strategies were developed. Earlier experiences include technical leadership positions at BroadVision and Medco (Merck), emphasizing the design and implementation of scalable web applications and secure data streaming. Venk holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and additional qualifications from the University of Virginia and University of Illinois, supplemented by a foundation in Computer Engineering from the University of Madras.
