Shannon Edwards currently serves as the Site Engagement Lead at AstraZeneca, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Shannon held the role of Regional Director at The International Institute for the Advancement of Medicine from January 2021 to April 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the United Network for Organ Sharing, spanning from April 2004 to January 2021, where Shannon advanced through multiple positions including Manager of Policy and Community Relations, Assistant Director of Regional Administration, Manager of Regional Administration, Regional Administrator, and Compliance Auditor. Earlier in the career, Shannon worked as a Clinical Recovery Coordinator and Clinical Recovery Associate at Washington Regional Transplant Community from February 2001 to March 2004. Shannon Edwards earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Randolph-Macon Woman's College.
