Reza Esfandiary has extensive experience in drug product development, currently serving as a Senior Director at AstraZeneca since November 2018, where previous roles included Director and Associate Director. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Reza worked at MedImmune from May 2011 to November 2018, progressing from Scientist I to Senior Scientist in biopharmaceutical development within the Department of Formulation Sciences. Earlier experience includes a Research Associate position in pre-formulation and early formulation development at the Macromolecule and Vaccine Stabilization Center from September 2009 to May 2011. Reza holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, both from The University of Kansas.
