Leticia A Funari Ferri, MD MSc PhD MBA, currently serves as the US Medical Head for Amyloidosis at AstraZeneca, having joined the company in November 2023. Prior to this role, Leticia held multiple positions at Bristol Myers Squibb from November 2015 to November 2023, including Executive Medical Director for Camzyos, Interim VP/Head of US Medical Cardiovascular & Established Brands, and Executive Director for Medical Cardiovascular Business Development Strategy. Leticia also led the Organization for Latino Achievement at Bristol Myers Squibb, focusing on enhancing business performance and cultural awareness. Leticia's earlier career includes roles at AstraZeneca and Zambon, as well as extensive experience in medical leadership within the diabetes and cardiovascular sectors. Leticia's academic credentials encompass an MBA from Cornell University, a PhD in Cardiology from USP, and an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Toronto, among other qualifications in medicine and endocrinology.
