Johanna (Jodie) Bruneau is an accomplished medical publications professional with extensive experience in global scientific communications and oncology publications. Currently serving as Associate Director of Global Scientific Communications at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since September 2021, Jodie previously worked as Senior Manager in Oncology Publications at GSK from November 2019 to September 2021. Jodie's career began with various roles at EBSCO Information Services from October 2013 to November 2019, including Associate Managing Editor and Medical Writer. Jodie also held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at UMass Medical School, backed by an NIH Career Re-entry Fellowship, and completed a Postdoctoral Researcher role at DCU. Jodie earned a PhD in Haematology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics, and an MSc in Molecular Medicine, all from Trinity College Dublin, in addition to a BA in Biology with a Concentration in Biochemistry from the College of the Holy Cross.
