Francesca Romana Delvecchio holds a BSc Hons, MSc Hons, PhD, and is currently an MBA candidate. Francesca serves as a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, focusing on Next Generation Immuno-Oncology and in vivo Pharmacology. Previous roles include Senior Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Barts Cancer Institute, where Francesca characterized T cell responses in pancreatic cancer, and various positions at The William Harvey Research Institute, developing monoclonal antibodies for cancer treatment. Francesca's academic journey includes a PhD in Cancer Immunology from Queen Mary University of London and broad research experience in mucosal immunology. Expertise encompasses the characterization of tumor microenvironments and the development of novel methodologies in cancer research.
