Euan Ashley is an accomplished academic and medical professional currently serving as the Chair of the Department of Medicine, Associate Dean, and Co-Director of Stanford Medicine Catalyst at Stanford University since July 2006. In addition to a faculty role as a Professor of Medicine, Genetics, and Biomedical Data Science, Euan is the Founding Director of the Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease and Medical Director of Clinical Genomics at Stanford Health Care. Euan also holds a Non Executive Director position at AstraZeneca since October 2020, and has founded several companies, including Personalis, Inc. and Deepcell, Inc. Euan chairs the board at Silicon Valley Exercise Analytics (Svexa). Euan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Science from the University of Oxford and an MB ChB from the University of Glasgow, where a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology was also earned.
