Claudia Coscia Requena is a skilled statistician with extensive experience in the fields of biostatistics and cancer epidemiology. Currently a Senior Statistician at AstraZeneca since March 2024, Claudia previously held the same role at Veramed from April 2023 to March 2024. Claudia's academic background includes a Doctorate in Data Science and a Master's in Biostatistics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where studies were completed between 2011 and 2022. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Claudia worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the IARC - World Health Organization from April 2022 to April 2023, and as a Predoctoral Researcher at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre from December 2018 to April 2022. Additional experience includes biostatistician roles at Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda and Hospital Ramón y Cajal, as well as internships and fellowships at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Instituto Nacional de Estadística.
