Anthony Tuesca is a seasoned director in drug product development at AstraZeneca, specializing in drug-device combination products with a strong track record in the biopharmaceutical industry. With extensive experience across multiple clinical and commercial programs, including BLA and MAA approvals, Anthony has held various roles from Principal Scientist to Senior Scientist, leading teams in biologics and gene therapy and focusing on drug delivery technologies. Previously, at MedImmune, Anthony contributed to drug delivery and formulation development, and began a career as a chemist at Eastman Chemical Company after earning a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Drexel University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.
