Steve Joseph is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering and satellite communications, currently serving as Director of Networks at Astranis Space Technologies since October 2016, where leadership in the design of satcom networks and team building is key. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Communication Systems Engineer at Astranis, and a Senior Systems Engineer at Qualcomm, where significant enhancements to 3G modem performance were achieved. Earlier roles encompassed wideband tactical networking at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, innovative wireless technology projects at the University of Michigan, and RF engineering internship at Harris RF Communications. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Systems from the University of Michigan, complemented by ongoing education from prestigious institutions.
