Ava Badii is an accomplished Propulsion Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace field, currently employed at Astranis since October 2021. Previously, Ava held the role of Associate Propulsion Engineer at Astranis as a Brooke Owens Fellow and served as Project Integration Lead in solid propulsion at the USC Space Engineering Research Center, managing a team focused on low-temperature solid rocket propellant research. As President of the AIAA USC Student Branch, Ava oversaw organizational activities and represented the group at various events. In addition to leadership roles at the USC Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, Ava contributed significantly to multiple projects, including the testing and integration of recovery systems for the Traveler rockets. Ava's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California, complemented by a strong academic foundation as valedictorian from Notre Dame Academy Girls High School.
