Eugene Hockenberry is an accomplished leader in engineering and program management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as President/CEO at Hi Rel Management and Engineering, LLC since June 2017, and as Sr Program Manager at AST & Science since March 2020, Eugene has a strong track record of delivering complex projects. Notably, in earlier roles at Surrey Satellite Technology US LLC and the United States Air Force, Eugene oversaw multi-million dollar contracts and engineering teams, driving innovative solutions in high-pressure environments. With a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, Eugene combines academic expertise with practical experience in civil engineering, satellite systems, and operations management.
