Lisa has distinguished herself as a strong turnaround executive with substantive accomplishments in leading process and system redesign and an unparalleled ability to use technology tools to their fullest, undiscovered capabilities for organizational optimization. She has spearheaded foundationally essential initiatives within numerous organizations, leading to consistent profit growth and new sources of revenue in advance of new market trends.
Lisa is currently driving transformation of the life insurance industry at Farmers Life Insurance (wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group), specializing in overarching business transformation as the Strategic Chief Financial Officer. She also recently served as Executive Vice President, Global Chief Digital Strategy and Transformation Officer for MunichRe Group, the world’s second largest reinsurer and innovator of new products and services to meet the demands of a changing global marketplace. She has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Transformation for MunichRe, North America Life & Health.
Under Lisa’s leadership, MunichRe’s digital business models became a market leader over the three years under her leadership, forming digital ecosystems and new products leveraging their existing digital enablement technologies. Lisa built a global team from the ground up and was successful building rapport and buy-in from cross-functional business leaders: CEOs, CFOs, COOs, innovation leads, global IT enterprise architects, regional transformation leads, global process owners, and regional data analytics Centers of Excellence.
Lisa began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers upon graduating from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, with a degree in Business Administration. Following rising positions at Voya Finance, The Home Depot, and Titus Consulting, Lisa served as Vice President and Controller of Nations Builders Insurance Company, where she led a successful audit preparation and sale to a private equity firm. Following Nations Builders, she returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Director in their Transaction Services practice, focusing on IFRS implementations and complex due diligence/financial values. There, she gained extensive experience and knowledge of digital transformation, large-scale and complex operational re-engineering, finance, treasury, and leadership in highly technical and competitive international industries.
