Chad Turner is a Senior Software Engineer at Assurant since March 2019, with extensive experience in software development and IT project management. Previously, Chad held the position of Sr. Software Engineer at The Home Depot for 18 years, where responsibilities included Java development and overseeing various project phases such as design, testing, and deployment. Chad also worked as an Internal Developer at AppForge, Inc. and began a career in IT as a Computer Operator at Allied Holdings and a Data Entry Specialist at SunTrust Bank. Chad’s career commenced at Fulton County Government as an EDP Programmer, focusing on Cobol program development. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology and a diploma in Computer Programming from Atlanta Area Tech.
