Julie McCulloch is an accomplished education policy leader with extensive experience in both association and corporate settings. As the Director of Policy at the Association of School and College Leaders since February 2015, Julie leads engagement with policymakers and stakeholders, managing a team of ten policy specialists. Prior to ASCL, Julie held various roles at Pearson from 2004 to January 2015, including Director of UK Policy & Thought Leadership and Head of Primary Marketing, where significant contributions were made to policy development and brand enhancement in the primary education sector. Julie holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds and a postgraduate diploma in publishing from Oxford Brookes University.
