Amani Echols, MPH, is an experienced public health professional specializing in policy and health equity. Currently serving as the Policy and Government Affairs Manager at the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs, Amani has previously held positions as an Associate Consultant at Junious Williams Consulting, Inc., and as a Health Equity Academy Fellow with Families USA. Amani's background includes coordinating the Dial-a-Doula Program at Michigan Medicine and conducting community engagement research for the Region 9 Perinatal Quality Collaborative. Amani's work has focused on strategies to achieve racial equity in public health, particularly in maternal and child health contexts, supported by a strong academic foundation with a Master of Public Health and a BA in Community and Global Public Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
