Abraham Rivera, CFCE, CFE, CISM, DFCP, serves as the Incident Commander for the City of New York since June 2019. Rivera is also an Adjunct Lecturer and Curriculum Lead at John Jay College (CUNY), teaching courses in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, and Public Administration since January 2012. In addition to this role, Rivera is an Adjunct Lecturer at CUNY Bronx Community College, specializing in Cybersecurity and Networking, and is an Instructor for the Association of Inspectors General, providing training in Cybersecurity Investigations. Rivera owns WatchDog Forensics LLC, offering cybersecurity training and consulting services, and has held various consultancy and leadership positions in prominent organizations such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Investment Bank, and Morgan Stanley. Prior to these roles, Rivera was the Executive Director at the New York City Department of Investigation, managing technical and investigative teams. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College (CUNY) and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The City College of New York.
