Barbara McCuen Jones is a seasoned professional in digital communications, currently serving as the Senior Director of Digital Solutions at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges since March 2019, previously holding the role of Director of Digital Solutions. Prior to this position, Barbara spent over a decade at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, advancing from Website and Digital Content Director to Web Communications Manager, focusing on digital strategies and web technologies. Earlier experience includes roles as Web Content Manager at the Council on Foundations and Director of Online Communications at the Council for Advancement & Support of Education, along with a stint as a Web Producer at Speakout.com. Barbara holds a Master of Science degree in Communications from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Union College.
