Earle Rugg serves as the CEO of Rural Health IT Corporation since January 2004, leading initiatives to enhance health information technology with a focus on improving individual wellness and achieving trans-disciplinary care through the integration of personal and social determinants of health. Rugg's role involves addressing critical questions in healthcare data access, funding for health IT developments, and the challenges faced in population health efforts. Additionally, Earle Rugg holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, an organization dedicated to supporting healthcare for underserved populations. Prior to these roles, Earle Rugg was the VP & Chief Marketing Officer at Payer Technologies, Inc., where responsibilities included providing client services to BCBS Plans with a focus on teleprocessing systems. Earle Rugg holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and an AB in Political Science and Economics from Boston University.
