Matt Schaub

Matt Schaub, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matt currently serves as the Director of External Affairs and Strategic Communications at Associated Universities, Inc., where they oversee governmental and regulatory affairs responsibilities and communication strategies. Prior to this, Schaub was the Senior Advisor for Communications & Public Affairs at the same company.

Before joining Associated Universities, Inc., Schaub worked at Argonne National Laboratory as the DC Communications Lead. Matt was responsible for leading the laboratory's communications efforts. Prior to that, they held positions at the U.S. Department of Energy, serving as the Deputy Press Secretary and Deputy Director.

Schaub also gained valuable experience working at the Executive Office of the President, The White House, where they held the role of Assistant Director, Office of Presidential Correspondence. Matt was responsible for drafting presidential proclamations and managing volunteer departments.

Earlier in their career, Schaub worked as a Campaign Manager for DAGHER FOR CONGRESS, organizing operations and managing a dedicated team of volunteers. Matt also served as a Telecom Procurement Facilities Coordinator for OBAMA FOR AMERICA, implementing the installation of phone and internet lines for the presidential campaign.

Schaub's experience also includes roles as a Spokesman and Project Manager at NATURAL SOURCE ENERGY SYSTEMS and as a Research Microbiologist at SILLIKER RESEARCH. Matt has also held positions as a Genetic Toxicologist at ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF RESEARCH INSTITUTE and as a Lead Author at Blackburn College.

Throughout their career, Schaub has demonstrated their ability to lead and manage various communication and strategic initiatives, as well as their expertise in governmental affairs and regulatory compliance.

Matt Schaub, MBA attended Blackburn College from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology. Later, they pursued further education at Western Governors University from 2021 to 2022, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
