Bertrand Combaldieu serves as the Chief Photo Editor at The Associated Press, overseeing photographic coverage for France and North Africa since August 2005, and previously held the position of Deputy Chief Photo Editor, managing a team of 15 photo-reporters. Additionally, Bertrand is a co-manager at SCEA Famille Vimeney, a family-owned vineyard in Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens. Previous experience includes serving as Chief of Service at The Associated Press from 1999 to 2005, where responsibilities involved organizing assignments and covering major events, as well as roles at the European Patent Office and SYGMA. Bertrand holds a Master’s Degree in Management des Médias et du Numérique from Sciences Po and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Property from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
